YUMMMY colorful bean salad

One of my favorite things to snack on in the summer is bean salad.  There are so many ways to change it up and make it your own.  My original recipe came from my mom, but most of the women on both sides of my family are familiar with it.  I like to add lots of colorful peppers and onions to mine.

You mix 2 cups vinegar (I mix and match types) with 2 cups sugar and 1/4 cup water.
Boil it for 5 minutes.  Then you pour it over drained beans & veggies of your choice and let marinate.

Sooooo yummy.  It was a big hit with the girls at work today.  Enjoy!
